A little bit about me
My full time vocation has been as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer and Teacher, whilst in my spare time I have been a part time entertainer since 1972 when I joined my first band.
I have extensive experience over many years as an entertainer playing and singing in different settings such as social clubs, Miner's welfare clubs, private parties, weddings, corporate functions and theatres.
I started my part time role as a senior entertainer in March 2018 after taking early retirement.
I sing a wide range of musical genre consisting of songs specifically chosen with my audience in mind.
A full list of songs that I sing can be found at the bottom of this page.
I work in Care Homes covering a small area in and around Ipswich Suffolk.
I also entertain on line for various organisations such as Age UK, various Memory Cafe groups and every second Friday afternoon with Oomph-Wellness UK.

Dear Rosie
My residents love music and we joined Alan last Friday for the first time . He got such a lovely voice they really enjoyed his set. Really cheered them all up on a lazy rainy Friday afternoon. Could you tell him thank you and please keep this on the calendar.
He kindly read my chat and said hello to Doreen who loves his singing, she was so surprised made her day.
Many thanks
